Welcome to Tybee Island Charters
In 1985 we launched Tybee Island Charters to share the coast of Georgia with others. For over two decades we have fished the area's tidal waters and deep seas. When the tide wasn't right for fishing, we found ourselves exploring the coast's magnificent barrier islands. Along the way we discovered rich prehistoric fossil beds, nesting eagles, curious Bottlenose Dolphin, and so much more.
We work the inshore zone searching for red drum, flounder, and speckled sea trout. Our deep sea adventures lead us to the realm of dolphin fish, snapper and grouper. You pick the season and we'll tell you what is biting and take you there.
Years of cruising the waterways have given us an intimate knowledge of the areas tidal wetlands and barrier islands. Our Eco-tours can be customized for naturalists, photographers, or those who simply want to see and learn about our amazing coast. Our picnics on Little Tybee are Nature-tours with a gourmet twist.
Following our life long dream, we recently added the Izabella, a 49' Albin Flybridge Trawler. Enjoy a four course dinner extravaganza while anchored in protective waters. Our dinner cruise for up to six persons is a delight for all ages. Additionally, we now offer multi-day Intracoastal Waterway tours showcasing Coastal Georgia, accommodating up to four passengers.
